African Institute for Leaders and Leadership (AILL)

African Institute for Leaders and Leadership is a non-profit organization established in Nairobi, Kenya in 2005. AILL’s underlying mandate is to develop a benchmark for future African leaders and leadership as well as be a focal centre for excellence in the continent in training and be a foundation for holistic human development in the areas of prosperity, peace, stability, unity, human rights observance as well as enlargement of constitutionalism and democracy. AILL works towards advancing scholarly discourse on African leadership through research and publications. AILL looks forward to hosting a range of special events designed to raise the level of public dialogue on issues germane to African leaders and leadership by facilitating fora for African leaders’ caucus which will also create a network of leaders and activists.
