Professor Korwa Gombe Adar
Korwa Gombe Adar is Professor of International Relations, Department of International Relations, United States International University-Africa, Nairobi, Kenya. He is one the Trustees of the African Institute of Leaders and Leadership (AILL), Nairobi, Kenya. He received his BSc and MSc in Political Science at Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana, United States, followed by MA and PhD in International Studies at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, United States. He was one of the recipients of the 1992 Fulbright Research Grant awarded to Senior African Scholars. Prior to joining the United States International University he worked as the Director of Research at the Africa Institute of South Africa, Pretoria, South Africa, 2003-2009. Prof. Adar also lectured at Rhodes University, South Africa (1997-2002), and the University of Nairobi, Kenya (1987-1994). He was the National Chairman of the Universities Academic Staff Union (UASU), 1993-1997, a union established by the academic members of staff in the public universities in Kenya.
Korwa G. Adar has published extensively, particularly in International Relations, Foreign Policy Analysis, International Law and Organization, and African International Relations, with a special focus and research interests on Africa, the Horn of Africa, and East Africa. He has authored and co-edited many books, book chapters and published numerous articles in internationally recognized and refereed journals. Some of his recent co-edited volumes include:

Prof. Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba
Prof. PLO Lumumba is the current Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya School of Law. He is an associate Professor of Public Law and Founding Dean, Kabarak University School of Law. Prof. Lumumba has lectured law in:-
- The University of Nairobi
- The United States International University-Africa in Nairobi, Kenya
- Widener University, USA (Nairobi Summer School)
Prof. Lumumba is also an Advocate of the High Courts of Kenya and Tanzania. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degrees from the University of Nairobi and a LL.D from the University of Ghent, Belgium. He is a Certified Public Secretary, CPS (K) and a Member of the Kenya Institute of Management (MKIM). He is a former Secretary of the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission (CKRC), and former Director of the defunct Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission (KACC). He is also the Founder of the PLO-Lumumba Foundation (a Philanthropy Organization); a founding Trustee of the African Institute for Leaders and Leadership (AILL) and founding Chairman of the Association of the Citizens Against Corruption (ACAC). He was recognized by the Kenya-USA Association for the Martin Luther King Jnr., Leadership Award in 1996 and was the recipient of the 2008 Martin Luther King Africa Salute to Greatness Award by the Martin Luther Jr. Africa Foundation. He has also been included in the Marquis Who’s Who in the World and the Distinguished Mwalimu Nyerere Lecturer for 2014.
Pamela N. Inoti
Pamela N. Inoti is an independent consultant and a researcher with eight years of experience in Development Communications; Security and Governance. She is one of the Trustees of the African Institute for Leaders and Leadership (AILL), Nairobi, Kenya. Pamela holds a BSc in Communication and Sociology from Kennesaw State University, Georgia, USA; a Diploma in Film and Video Production from the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication; and an MA in International Relations from the United States International University-Africa. She is an established journalist with numerous articles and features that have appeared in many publications. She is also a filmmaker who enjoys nature photography, scripting and producing documentaries. Currently, Pamela is a Young Professional at the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA)- Governance Division. She has previously worked on various assignments for organizations such as Fahamu, ADP Group, UNDP Kenya, Oxfam GB, Africa Peace Forum, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kenya, among many others. Her research and professional interests include issues on:-
